Swolie ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use Swolie on iPhone, Apple Watch, and Android.

Our Privacy Commitment

We do not collect your data. Swolie has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no servers of our own. Everything you log stays on your device, or in your own iCloud account if you turn on iCloud sync.

Data That Stays on Your Device

The data you create in Swolie is stored on your device:

• Workout Data: Your routines, plans, workout logs, sets, notes, and personal records.
• Progress Photos: Photos you take or import are saved in the app's private storage on your device.
• About You: Optional details you enter (birth year, height, weight, sex) are used only to estimate calories.
• Settings & Preferences: Your app preferences are stored locally.

Health Data

With your permission, Swolie can connect to your phone's health platform. You choose what to allow, and you can turn access off at any time in your device settings.

• Apple Health (iPhone): Swolie can save workouts, calories, heart rate, and body weight to Apple Health, and read workouts, heart rate, calories, distance, height, weight, birth date, and sex to show your stats and estimate calories.
• Health Connect (Android): Swolie can read exercise sessions, heart rate, active calories, distance, height, and weight, and write exercise sessions, heart rate, active calories, and weight.

Health data is used only to show your workouts, heart rate, calories, and progress inside Swolie. It is processed on your device, is never sent to us or to any third party, and is never used for advertising. Swolie's use of information received from Health Connect complies with the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Heart Rate Monitors

If you pair a Bluetooth heart rate monitor or use an Apple Watch, Swolie reads your heart rate during workouts to show it live and save it with the workout. These readings stay on your device (and in Apple Health or Health Connect if you allow it).

iCloud Sync (Optional, iPhone)

If you turn on iCloud sync, your Swolie data is stored in your own private iCloud account so it can sync between your Apple devices. That data is managed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We cannot see or access it.

Sharing

When you share a routine, plan, or workout card, Swolie creates a link or image on your device and hands it to the share method you choose. Nothing is uploaded to us.

What We Don't Do

• Collect analytics or usage data
• Use third-party tracking or advertising SDKs
• Require user accounts or authentication
• Sell or share your data with any third parties

Data Security & Deletion

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security, including encryption and passcode or biometric protection. You can delete your data at any time with Reset All Data in Settings, or by deleting the app. Data in iCloud can be removed from your iCloud settings, and health data from Apple Health or Health Connect.

Children's Privacy

Swolie does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. All data remains private on the user's device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
